Paths and Potholes is a voyage of experiences, detours, exhilarations, and tranquility.  While not a travel guide, we hope documenting our destinations, routes, and points of interest help you have more informed travel and avoid the potholes that snagged us along the way. 

We will be off the beaten path and in the middle of the superhighway of travel.  From holes in the wall to famous destinations, we will share our experiences, and unbiased opinions about the places we go, stay, eat, and play. 

Expect to see a lot of outdoors content like scuba diving, fishing, hiking and casual strolling.  Look for cultural, historical and modern destinations.  We will show the richness and poorness of both poverty and wealth. 

In our travels and our lives, we strive to be philosophical and nonjudgmental.  We are far from perfect at it but that is our intention.  Our writings are by design, illustrations of our observations.  Nothing more and nothing less.  Jump on and enjoy the ride.  May our paths cross through life’s adventure.  We hope you enjoy our reflections.
